Beacon Bingo honours local emergency services personnel and raises over £2,000 for charity

Europe’s largest bingo club, Beacon Bingo Cricklewood held a special community night to say thanks to local emergency service personnel, raising over £2,000 for the Blue Lamp Foundation – the charity that helps support injured emergency service heroes.

The event took place last Wednesday (10th May) and the Mayor of Brent, MP Parvez Ahmed, made a special appearance; giving a speech in which he thanked the emergency service heroes for all their efforts and the fundraisers for their support.

Steve Lightfoot, Beacon Bingo Cricklewood’s general manager, commented: “We would like to thank staff and customers for their support in making it possible to raise such a significant amount of money for the Blue Lamp Foundation.”

“We would also like to express gratitude to everyone who attended the evening, making the event such a success. It provided a great opportunity to say thank you to the emergency service heroes in our community who risk their lives for us every day.”
