Buckinghamshire man is one in 1,900 for employee of the month

Jason Stiborski, a Cashino team member from Buckinghamshire, has been named Praesepe’s “Employee of the Month – December 2017” after his hard work and contributions made him stand out from the 1,900 employees within the company.

Jason, 33, who has worked for Cashino for a number of years, was nominated for the award by Jeni McLaren, Operations Manager for Region 2, who said: “Jason left us last May and made a brief reappearance at really short notice to cover another employee in a time of need. He then re-joined us permanently in October. Since then he has reminded everyone how important it is to have a night manager in the region.”

Jeni added, “Jason has approached his job as a night manager with renewed enthusiasm, and has been coming up with some great strategies to improve our venues, taking back control of guard allocation, rotas, and providing suggestions and ideas to help with promotion, the list goes on. He truly is an asset to our team.”

Praesepe, a national leisure services group that employs over 1,900 people throughout the UK, operates Beacon Bingo, Cashino, Crystal Casino, Funshine, Jackpot FM and Tan Express.

“I’m incredibly surprised to have won the award. When I returned permanently to Cashino last October it was like I had never been away. It’s brilliant to be back,” Jason said.

Jason was joined by colleagues in a surprise ceremony on Wednesday the 30th January and Praesepe’s CEO, Nick Harding presented a certificate to mark his hard work and selflessness; a special Employee of the Month award; and £250 of high street vouchers.
