Jack Wright, an IT apprentice from Wingrave, Buckinghamshire, has been named Praesepe’s “Employee of the Month – September 2017” after he surpassed all expectations with his efficiency and work ethic.
Praesepe, a national leisure services group that employs over 1,900 people throughout the UK, operates Beacon Bingo, Cashino, Crystal Casino, Funshine, Jackpot FM and Tan Express. Its head office in Milton Keynes is located on Seebeck Place.
Jack, 19, who has worked for Cashino for just five months, was nominated for the award by both Nigel Davis, head of gaming machines and Bryon Evans, commercial director.
Jack said; “I’m incredibly surprised to have won the award. I’ve only been at the company for five months so it’s a huge honour to even be nominated. This just spurs me on and makes me want to work harder and push myself further within the company.”
Jack was joined by colleagues in a ceremony on October 20th and Praesepe’s CEO, Nick Harding presented a certificate to mark his hard work and dedication; a special Employee of the Month award; and £250 of high street vouchers.
Nigel Davis, head of gaming machines, said: “Jack is an incredibly hard working young man who has definitely gone above and beyond all expectations set. He did a very good job when we were two members of staff down and he has also received very positive feedback from many others highlighting how efficiently and politely he gets on with his job. He also stayed back at the end of his shift to help fix an IT issue for a senior member of staff.”
