Finally we are having some good old fashioned British summer weather and it is at times like this that our customers are delighted that all our venues are fully air conditioned and can provide some ‘cool’ fun on the high street !
All our staff have been trained to ensure that our customers always receive the best service possible and if that means cold lollies and iced cold drinks while they are playing then that is what is being delivered!
As any of my regular readers will know we also use ‘Mystery Shoppers’ at all our venues every three months and I shall be studying the latest results with great interest to ensure that during the hot spell our standards never dropped.
As one of the only arcade operators who continues to source and acquire the latest machines and games I am pleased to report that over the last four weeks we have uploaded 460 new ‘Cosmic Cash’ games onto our Triple 7 and T8 cabinets at locations up and down the country.
Based on the highly successful ‘Money Mad Martians’ Cosmic Cash is one of our B3 games (up to £500 jackpot) and is already looking like a success.
Our Gaming Machine in house expert and industry Guru (not sure whether that makes him some kind of religious icon?) Nigel D assures me that in addition to Cosmic Cash other games that his fleet of trucks is delivering to the venues include Luck of The Irish as a standalone £2 B3 in the new Blueprint Genie Cabinet & King of The Games Cat C multi game from Blueprint in the Genie Cabinet
So, its all fun and games here, as usual. Just to keep us on our toes we have also just opened new arcades in Poole, Perth and Tottenham Court Road (London) and we will soon be opening a further new venue somewhere in North London (all top secret at the moment!).
Our Beacon Bingo clubs are also doing well, lots of new games and lots of new ideas to keep the Beacon Brand fresh. I am also very pleased to announce that the Beacon Clubs also have a new boss, in the shape of Larry Kehoe who has joined us from Gala Clubs where he has been one of Gala’s most successful Regional Directors, running a number of clubs in London.
Larry is in the process of conducting a whistle stop tour up and down the country to meet the Club Managers, staff and of course the customers and will I am sure soon be introducing some new ideas and strategies.
Lastly, for those staff and customers who are reading this, a massive thank you for supporting our ‘CHIPs’ charity campaign, its still going on, we are still raising money for wheelchairs for disabled youngsters and I hope to have a big announcement about the money raised some time in the early autumn.
