Praesepe has pledged £1,000 to CHUMS – a children and young people’s charity based in Silsoe, Bedfordshire.
CHUMS provide mental health and emotional wellbeing services to children aged up to the age of 18 and the donation from Praesepe will go towards funding therapeutic support that will help a child, parent or carer.
Nick Harding, CEO of Praesepe said: “We’re delighted to donate this money to CHUMS. I first came across CHUMS last November when I heard its charity single, ‘Together at Christmas Time’, performed by Harlington School pupils in Middlesex. I asked if we could play it on Jackpot FM, Praesepe’s internal radio station to raise awareness about the charity.
“It’s a great charity that does amazing things for children and parents, and we hope our donation will help make a difference into the lives of some extremely deserving children.”
Sue Clarke, from CHUMS added: “This donation from Praesepe is amazing. It will allow us to provide support for more children and families. We couldn’t be more thankful.”
The cheque presentation took place on Monday, January 22nd at CHUMS in Silsoe, Milton Keynes.
